All programs are grounded in the Embodiment Tradition, which is the most dynamic and lively way to learn the enneagram. In keeping with the original purpose of the enneagram, we use it to help people transcend fixation.
Our PurposeBalance Point Collaborative (BPC) is a multi-disciplinary outpatient center specializing in the treatment of eating disorders; weight management; and co-occurring disorders, such as substance abuse, anxiety, depression and trauma. BPC addresses the need for more specialized care in Western North Carolina. We believe that for true healing to take place, a client must learn how to practice both physical and mental self-care in their day-to-day life.Our services provide clients with the proper education and tools to assist in living a well-balanced life. We utilize the Recovery Model, which provides person-centered vs. illness-centered healing.
At SUWS of the Carolinas, students work with experienced staff members in a supportive environment free from the stresses and distractions of everyday life. Since 1999, we have helped youth aged 10-17 who struggle with anger, defiance, ADHD, self-esteem, substance abuse, behavioral issues and autism spectrum related issues. Our highly supervised, structured and successful programs are respected and recommended highly by doctors and therapists across the nation.
Red Oak Recovery�s young adult drug and alcohol treatment program is like no other. Our focus is on clinical care, addressing substance abuse and the underlying emotional issues that are always present. Sometimes these issues predate drug and alcohol use, and sometimes it is the other way around. We believe in addressing all issues in a simultaneous and integrated fashion. Our Master�s level clinicians hold dual credentials, licensed in both mental health and clinical addictions. Our program is small enough that we can individualize care for each client.
